For Those Who Paid For The Lb Thru Insurance...

I know that the fills are required, but does your insurance pay for each time you have to have a fill? I have tricare south, so for anyone else who has tricare please feel free to answer. and if insurance doesnt cover the fills, about how much does each fill cost?

Medicare paid for my surgery (I had to pay 10%) and the first year of fills. Now it's 3 yrs later and I pay out of pocket $160 each time I see my dr. And travel 6 hrs round trip.

I have tri care but am in Italy so it may be little diffrent but for me I dont have to pay for any of my fills. I do know tricare is diffrent from region to region so you may want to call tricare and ask just to make sure because like out hear seeing a dietian and getting test ran is not a reqiremeny but Ive heard in other regions you have to see a dietian for six months just a thought so you know exactly what your region covers

My BCBS Anthem pays for all my fills and no copayment. Guess fills were included in the surgery band cost.
