  9. under one of my cuts ( I was cut 5 times during surgery) I feel a lump. I was banded 5 days ago, and I have steadily been loosing weight since getting banded . now that the swelling in my shoulder is going down, is this my band that I am feeling, or could it be something else? I just noticed it.
  10. how long till the swelling in your stomach went down?
  11. I wanted to know what everyone else's Post op diet was . I am on day 4, full liquids
  12. I was banded on 10/1, and the first night I couldn't keep any of the food that the hospital gave me down . but after that first day I have been able to keep everything down. I am following the post op diet, strictly liquids. my question is once I hit the 1 week post op mark should I move ontoto the mushie phase?

  21. I don't get banded until monday ( 10/1 ) but I wanted to know of anyone saw a difference in the body about 3 weeks after the surgery. my mom is getting remarried 3 weeks after my surgery and I am a bridesmaid in the wedding. I have already bought the dress for the wedding . I am kind of scared that it won't fit right or that I will have to get alterations done to it because of weight loss .
  22. Dionna, I'll be 21 on the 21st of October . I get banded on October 1st . looking fwd to the messages
  23. I know that the fills are required, but does your insurance pay for each time you have to have a fill? I have tricare south, so for anyone else who has tricare please feel free to answer. and if insurance doesnt cover the fills, about how much does each fill cost?
  24. I'll be sure to ask my surgeon, I was under the impression that once the band is installed I will have restriction . that is why i thought the post op diet for 6 weeks is needed .
  25. I have tricare prime, but each insurance provider is different . I've never heard of it taking more than 2 weeks to get back . just be patient
