Is This My Band?

under one of my cuts ( I was cut 5 times during surgery) I feel a lump. I was banded 5 days ago, and I have steadily been loosing weight since getting banded . now that the swelling in my shoulder is going down, is this my band that I am feeling, or could it be something else? I just noticed it.

The lump under your skin is most likely your port. Congrats on being banded and moving into the next phase of your life.

That would b the port the band is deeper in so you should not feel that

You have the answer, so I am just wishing you a great start to your new life! Karen

The bump is your port, will be alittle sore in the beginning. You can not feel the band from the outside. Good luck on your journey.
