For the full liquid phase, I discovered V8 made some really good Soups with no lumps. Potato Leek, Garden Tomato, and Butternut Squash were some I ate regularly. Of course, any cream soup or broth with no lumps is fine.

As far as Protein shakes, I tried 3 or 4 store brands and couldn't find any I could stomach. I finally ordered unjury online and love them. I'm almost 9 months post op and still have one for Breakfast every morning.

Best wishes to you.

I made a batch of different veggie soups with beans etc added for protein, spiced to my liking , blended and then froze them. I think I had V8 juice once or twice but didn't really like it. I also ate custard, yogurt, jelly etc

My doc let me do two shakes per day and a healthy choice or lean cusine for dinner. Not bad at all. I started early to get use to it and was able to survive. Good luck :)

I just made soup yesterday and added cottage cheese to it (then blenderized) for added protein. Yogurt, soup, pudding.........that is about it. I upped my milk consumption, low fat/sugar popsicles, fudgecicles............I do 1 optifast per day just to get some calories and protein in me. Campbells gardenney has some good soups.......some need to be thrown in the blender just to smooth them up a bit (veggie.)
