Should I get a fill??

Recommended Posts

My weight loss is slowing drastically- I have lost 1.5 lbs in the last three weeks. I feel like I am hungry a lot more often and definitely feel like I can eat more. I am still PBing more often than I like but have recently noticed that if I eat the way I am supposed to (ie. chewing a lot and pausing between bites, and taking small bites) that I can get A LOT of food down.

I think the reason I have held off on a second fill is because I feel like I PB too much. But I really think that by following the rules more closely I can avoid that even if I am a little tighter.

What do you all think? Is it time??

PB ing is ALOT about not taking small enough bites and chewing well.

Everything else sounds like you need a fill. Go for it!

How much of a regular meal can you eat? How many cups? How often are you really hungry?

Sounds like you do need a fill. I can eat maybe 1 cup of food before I am feeling pretty full. Kinda depends on the food, heavy things like meat, it is more like 1/2 cup, if that. I don't really get very hungry anymore, esp if I have a protien shake in the morning, that tends to really fill me up.

I would say to make sure that you can manage your PB's before you get the fill. If you can manage them at this fill level, then get a little tighter and make sure you can still manage them. Also, remember that for alot of people what they can and can't eat changes with nearly every fill!

I can easily eat a cup of food or more at a meal if I chew correctly. And I am pretty tight in the morning so I usually have a scoop of chocolate Protein Powder in a big cup of coffee. After that I will have two meals and usually a snack at some point.I am eating healthy foods, and if I really crave something that is not good for me I have a strict "two bite" rule that has been working very well for me!

I am really hungry all the time, though. I think I am going to go for it.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
