I'm now 5 weeks post op and I had lost 15 lbs

Good luck

Most docs like to sneak up on restriction. It takes some time before you get the habit of taking very small bites, chewing till your tmj aches and doing it all very slowly. You may be different but most of us took months to get that habit conquered. And the battle goes on every day. I know, I was like you, I wanted to put the pedal to the metal and get this journey started.

I'm 3 months post op and no fill yet :) surgeon says I'm doing great. But I still want one. Ahhhhh! We shall see in anothe month. 0.o

I go to my surgeon Tuesday for my 6 week follow up. I have lost 25 lbs since surgery so I am afraid he may say I am doing well and don't need one. I notice I am really struggling the past week or so wanting to snack as I can feel my hunger increasing. I have been able to keep it in check but it's been a challenge recently.

I found some Special K baked crackers that I have a few here and there (only 110 calories if I have whole bag and I make it last for a few days). It is helping w/ my "I want a salty snack" craving.

I hope I get a fill. Please "fill fairy" let my dr. give me my first fill. :)

Good luck to you!
