  1. It all depends on where you carried all your weight. If you were all belly, you will defiantly have a skirt of skin hanging. I knew a girl in who was very wide, carried all her weight in her upper body, and is just drowning in extra skin. I'm 24, and down almost 95 lbs and no noticeable extra skin even though I lost 5 pant size/3 top sizes. I'm built solid weight distributes pretty even

  3. I'm 3 months post op and no fill yet surgeon says I'm doing great. But I still want one. Ahhhhh! We shall see in anothe month. 0.o
  4. You will see results by a week. I lost 22lbs by my 1st follow up which was 6 days after surgery .
  5. Ooo wowwwww lol
  6. Finally!!! 18s didn't fit in the beginning of July Now in size 16! @259lbs dropped a pant size in 3 weeks
  7. Also sugar free Popsicles were my best friend, you still get that texture like real food but your getting fluids in.
  8. Ya totally the gas trying to work it's way out. I remember eating gas x and Tums like candy,I would eat them like a meal since it got me full. I would eat sugar free jello and be so full after 3 spoons. Give it time, stick to the liquids. I wasn't able to have yogurt until 3 weeks out.

  10. Staeted levothyroxine a year ago, I've lost 40lbs and I'm 7 weeks post op. It can be done. Ive worked very hard
  11. I was banded June 8th dat of surgery I was 304 and currently 265 and my surgeon says I don't need a fill. I lost 27 lbs the first month and and 12lbs in 3 weeks that the average loss per month should be 10 lbs. so since I'm doing really well with diet and exercise I don't need one yet... Just evaluate ur eating and are you exercising and getting enough water. It all makes a big difference in your weightloss.
  12. After day 6 it hurt/was uncomfortable when in the laying position, but all good on top. Port site was very tender
  13. My surgeon said that the average loss for a month should be 10 lbs, I'm almost 2 mos post op and no fill yet, not needed since I've lost 27 lbs the first month and 10lbs after 3 weeks. So since I'm doing "so well" they don't want me to have a full yet. >.< I want one just to see how it goes. And I feel like I'm going slow, I think because I'm comparing my progress to bypass patients, they lose so quickly 0,0
  14. Tried getting a fill at 1 month post op but dr was not able to locate port and extremely painful. Went back yesterday and a diff doctor said I don't need one yet. That avg weightloss should be 10 lbs and that I've already lost 8lbs in 3 weeks. Ugh!!! Part of me really wants one. I feel like I'm losing very slow. I'm apparently impatient :/
  15. It depends if you actually carried your weight in certain areas, big belly regardless of having kids or not will give you that huge flap of saggy skin. Hopefully you carry your weight well and evenly
  16. Lol thanks! Yes it stopped ,I would get one every 4-6 months and then completely stopped the last year and I've never been on birth control. I just want to feel " normal" and be regular
