Im due to have gastric bypass 25th September anyone else?

I am 71 and I just got my date Sept 14/ 2012 I am excited and happy don't know if i will be on a diet or not i have a dr. appointment sept.11/2012 do i have to diet 3 days before ?I am waiting for the letter with information .I am really excited .I will be healthy and off insulin. I want buddys .

I just found out I was approved by Fed BCBS...just waiting on the surgery date!

I'm getting banded w/plication on Sept. 11th!!! Pre op tomorrow....... and starting pre op diet.

I will be banded sept 14th i have not been given a pre opt diet yet.I'm really excited to get it done I have been waiting sense FeB.and now I have my date .I would like a buddy . and Good luck to all so glad to be part of this group.let us know how it went .maybe we can get togeather and help each other get through this and discuss any problems any one has .
