I know this shouldnt hold me back but everyone at work is trying to talk me out of my surgery. I just started my pre-op diet and they think if i can do this diet for 25 days than why cant i just lose the weight on my own. I mean alot of people stress eat but what makes me think the lap band will help me with that. I try to explain this is a life style change but nobody can understand me. They dont know why i cant do this on my own. What can i say to them to make them understand and why does the things they are saying effect me so much.
