Hello Friends

My name is Mike. I live in California and I just scheduled my fist appointment with a surgeon to discuss my needs. I have a bmi at 69+ right now....and need to do something as I fear my life depends on it. I am engaged to be married next june....and hope to feel better about my life with my soon to be wife. I just found out today that I was chosen to have free lap band surgery as a weightless study. I've been waiting to hear from them since apr. I now have to have it within 3 weeks and am starting to freak out. What if it doesn't work for me? Holy moly!!

What if it doesn't work for you? Hmmm. If the band and the surgery are free, it's not a huge risk, is it? Do you also get free patient education and lifetime aftercare and support services? Did you have to sign a waiver promising not to hold the program responsible if you have complications?

Yes it's free. I signed up to go in for check ups once every 6 mos. for 5 yrs. you're right I should just do it.
