Do you have excess skin on your thighs? That can cause more skin irritation.

Plus, even if you don't, it's hot pretty much everywhere right now and sweating definitely leads to more hair follicle pimples and bumps.

No excess skin there! thats what I dont understand and it's been going on for a few months not just in the hotter season. My friend who is an esthetician says its my skins getting used to my new size. I just wanna know if anyone has experienced this and does it go away?

Raaising hand here!!! I shaved under my arm and I had a boil, went to md gave me some antibiotics , well it cleared. I tried shaving again 2 weeks later and 4 more boils came up! back to dr. I guess no more shaving for me.

awww you poor thing, my mom got those boils! I don't think she shaves anymore either, I luckily don't get those. Just tiny little red bumps where I sit down.

When I was heavier I only shaved to my knee. As I've lost weight I've started wearing more shorts and as a result shaving all the way up my leg, lol. I've noticed the bumps too and just chalked it up to ingrown hairs from shaving now.
