5 Days Out. How Do I Get Rid Of Extra Gas?

Hi, I am 5 days post op and I keep feeling like I need to burp really bad. Nothing happens, and I am taking the gas x strips too. It really hurts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have one of the magic bags the heat seems to help, it will pass.

Hot tea helps! Allot!

Yea getting up and moving is what helps best to get rid of it...and your already taking the gas-x...sorry hon Hang in there it will go away soon

This is going to sound really silly, but if you get on your hands and knees and then lower your upper body, that will help the gas move.

It will be gone soon! I am 7 days post op and no gas pain! You are almost in the clear!

My rocking chair was a great help to get rid of the gas.
