I Think I Swallowed A Lemon Seed?

Recommended Posts

I put lemon in my water bottle and took a chug yesterday and I kinda thought I felt a seed. Now I feel like its stuck in the back of my throat?? Is that even possible or due to the band? It's not terribly bothersome so I thought I would just wait it out it would go thru. It's not like that "stuck" feeling. Any thoughts?

I would try drinking a lot of Water. This might help dislodge if indeed it is stuck. Also try some papya pills (chewables found in the Vitamin isle. About half way to restriction while out on a nature walk I swallowed a small piece of gum when I drank out of a water bottle (yes dumb @ss move!). I drank a lot more water and eventually the stuck feeling went away. I do still chew gum but I never ever try to drink water while it's in my mouth.

Lemon seed in throat will grow to what's called "lemon-mouth" condition shown in Figure 1a below.

Figure 1a

Left untreated within a week you will experience the phenomenom of full body & mind conversion into a pop girl-boy band group appropriately named Lemonade Mouth as shown below in Figure 2b. It's best you speak to your physician immediately.

Hahahahahaha oh I'm dying here.

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
