Get banded on June 27...how long before I can start golfing again? Anyone else have any experience with golfing after surgery? Thanks!

Well Brother, I would guess 6 weeks. I have been chomping at the bit to ride our greatPumpkin (Goldwing GL1800) and have felt great. Was told by our Dr. just because I'm healed on the outside, the insides need the time to recover. So don't push it like we "men" do, I have been a really good boy because I want to stay on schedule!

My doc won't let me do anything other than walking for at least 4 weeks after surgery. Other docs could be different.

I went to the driving range 6 weeks after surgery. I had no issues.

Thanks folks...I was hoping to get on the course in about four weeks...may have to push that back a week or so!
