  1. How’s everyone doing? Stalls? Progress? NSVs?
  2. How’ve you been feeling? I’m 6 weeks post op revision as well.
  3. Almost 1 month out and I experienced the stall at Week 3 that everyone talks about. So glad I read about it here so I didn’t freak out...but it DID pass and scale is moving again ;)
  4. My doc wouldn’t revise to sleeve after emergency band removal unless I gained back to 30 BMI which is so disheartening. Fortunately I was able to go to Mexico for the revision last month.
  5. What is sleeve plus?
  6. I’m on the other side! VSG yesterday (after having band removed 11 months ago). Overall I’m feeling pretty good. I recall being in more pain (gas etc) after band surgery.
  7. Dizzy isn’t good. Are you keeping hydrated? Hope you’re doing better
  8. Checking in on this thread to see how everything is going?
  9. Your stats seem similar to mine. My band is out, gained, and now revising to sleeve in 2 weeks. How’ve you been feeling since the sleeve?
  10. Hi. ? I’m 11/29 revision to sleeve.
  11. I think yes cash pay. That’s what my situation is as I’m still considered low BMI despite significant weight gain after my band was removed.
  12. Even though I’m self pay revision, I’m still going through all the appointments like cardio, endocrinologist, Nutritionist, etc. Then I’ll schedule a date.
  13. @elcee- what was your BMI at revision? Glad you’re doing well.
  14. That’s great. I’m going to UCLA Tuesday for my revision consult.
  15. My GI doc is at Cedars. I’m scheduled to see someone at UCLA next week to discuss revision.
  16. 100% happens to me all the time! It’s a small price to pay :)
  17. I moved from New York to Los Angeles and looking for a new bariatric surgeon in Los Angeles area. Anyone have a strong recommendation? I had lap band in New York (2012) and recently had to have it removed, but I am looking to revise to sleeve once my stomach heals. Love my NY doc, but I want to meet with some local surgeons in LA instead of flying back to New York. Thanks all for the input!
  18. I shared a room but the curtain was closed between us. I kept my headphones in most of the time to listen to music or watch videos. I think you’ll be ok!
  19. I saw small differences after each 10lb mark. Take pics to see your own progress. It helped me!
  20. Do you guys feel very full/uncomfortable after eating? Feel full quickly?
  21. Did you have success with the band? Or taking it out due to complications?
  22. I will be following your progress :) I think my revision will be in March tbd exact date. To be honest, I know I need to just relax, but I am terrified of gaining weight in between the removal and the revision.
  23. I’m looking as well. I moved to LA from NY so I want to find a local doc. Who did you end up seeing?
