What are GS Cookies?

They are the work of Satan, Suz. Sold door to door and at super market entrances by innocent looking little girls in green uniforms. You've never seen them? *grins*

I have had this problem for a few months now and found a simple solution that works for me.

First, I don't eat after 7:00PM. That seems to be the worst culprit for me.

Second - I drink a big mug of herbal (usually peppermint or chamomile) tea before bed.

When I follow these two suggestions, I usually sleep right through the night.

The other thing I've noticed is that my symptoms seem to crop up when I've been sleeping on my stomach. Not too sure how to prevent that one, though.

Ah yes! I've seen the little green people of which you speak. They force me to eat their diabolic offerings. Suz

I had a nasty case of food poisoning a little while ago, puked my guts up, which made me think, what happens after you're banded and you get really sick, not just the stuff in your pouch, I mean if you had food poisoning or stomach flu. If the food was already through the stoma and in the large part of the stomach. That can get pretty forcefull, believe me. Would it make the band slip? Would the stuff be able to get out through the little stoma and pouch? Suz:confused:

I have had this same problem twice and am totally unfilled for the 2nd time? On this Organic Apple Cidar Vinegar...do you drink it or take pills? Also each time have been unfilled, they have done barium swallow and say there is no slippage???? I spent 3 weeks not sleeping thru the nite and yet I could sleep during the day? what's up with that!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
