Anyone else allergic to the tape?

I developed a rash, and it took about a week for it to resolve, after the steri strips were off.

Yes very allergic to tape that's why they used something else or I would have itched to death!!! Don't just hang tight. It will be over soon!!!

Allergic to Latex they used glue allergic to that too. Itched and burned , this too shall pass.

I had that too, I took Children's Benedryl and used hydrocortizone cream (prescribed by surgeon and NOT on incisions!) and that seemed to help. Hope it helps you too!

Oh man yea and my port site reopened a few times before it healed right

I've been picking at the tape. and the dried blood that's under the glue on the port incision.... I can't seem to stop! But I've always been a scab picker... that's why I'm so scarred up I guess....
