Banded April 2Nd And

Down 32lbs!! Very excited! I know I'm going to plateau eventually, but I'll ride out the losses 'til then!! Only a few setbacks since my surgery, but hopefully I can lose 20lbs by the 4th of July!!! I'll be seeing family I haven't seen since October, so to be -50lbs would hopefully blow them away!!

Congratulations on your weight loss!!! Keep up the good work!!!

I agree; I had lap band surgery on April 9th and I am down 25 pounds. I have a summer beach trip planned and hope to lose another 25 pounds. It will be the first summer in 20 years that I won't dread being in a bathing suit ~ Good Luck in your journey ~

32 lbs awesome. I was banded on 4/3/12 and lost 20 lbs since my surgery date.

Woohoo! to you all, you are startting with a band. Keep it up, but be aware of plateau. Don't be upset, the weight will comeoff if you follow the rules. Start walking, if its to soon for other exercise. Best wishes to you all. Karen

So Monday's are my actual "Weight Days" so I hopped on and....DOWN TWO MORE POUNDS!! Makes it -34lbs since April 2nd!! I can start at the gym again, so I'm excited about that!! I walk over two miles a day, 5 days a week, so cardio is good, but I want that Iron pumping feeling!!! I cannot wait to hit the weights, and lose...weight!!! Ha!! Exciting times ahead!!!

I'm aware of the dreaded plateau, so I know not to get discouraged. It'll pass; just gotta work hard!! Put your shoulder to the wheel, push along!!
