Pain Left Side Under Top Of Rib Cage......

I was banded a year ago and recently I've had this dull pain on my left side top of my rib cage? Anyone experience this? Could this just be gas.....I know no one wants to talk about that...but it is what it is :)

My mom who also has lap band has this whenever she eats too much, or drinks too much beer. I don't know what causes it though.

Hey talk to your surgeon maybe you need to have it looked at. Its better to be safe than sorry.

I just started having this problem and I went in and talked to the PA and had my band looked at it was good , only for her to tell me that it was just gas..I was banded 9/6/2011...

I get that pain too when I drink out of a straw, eat too much or drink too much water..

Yup I think lots of bandsters get this. I get it if I eat too fast so gas is probably the culprit there or I get it if I take too big of a bite. It's funny cause it's almost instant. Little band reminder to slow it all down.
