It seems this day has crept up on me. One day Im thinking, wow May 1st is a few weeks away and now here i am today thinking, Ok! tomorrow is the very beginning. Im hoping and praying that I do well on this liquid diet. Im not sure what to think at this moment. Im just trying to keep a positive mindset. I want this and I want it to be right. I dont want to fail. My biggest problem right now is finding a Protein shake that will help me feel full and that will taste great. Im headed to the store this evening to pick up my items.

Im excited and nervous at the same time. this feels weird. I havent been this emotional since I gave birth to my two children.

Keep me in prayer. And to all the May bandsters, good luck with everything. I'll be posting in my blog. The support is needed greatly. Please stop by. Thanks for allowing me to vent.

Thank you all :) I was in the store and I was actually about to cry. I don't know why but I was. I'll probably be on here more than I usually do, venting and being a cry baby about so bare with my LBT family.

I just started my liquid diet today.. last week was a 800 calorie diet, I bought vanilla whey Protein from GNC, mixed it this morning with half frozen banana 4 oz skim milk and 4 oz Water and some ice and it was good!! I used the blender and it thick like a shake. Had a little broth today also...trying to watch the sodium in that its really high...tried the propel and Vitamin Water also not a big fan..tomorrow i'll try to mix it up with sugar free juice...but i've tried to google different Protein shakes and there are a lot out there just try to find what you like : )

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
