Hi all....this is my first time posting. I got my surgery date on Friday (it is May 14) and I have been excited and scared all weekend. I did not have to diet prior so now it is hitting me in the face......wow' date=' this is real! I have bought all the items needed for my 2 week liquids. I think it is just a mental game for me to get into the groove, but it will definitely be hard![/quote']

Lose_it It's just a group for all of us to talk and plan goals maybe differnt things for us to do and help each other with. It is still thru lapbandtalk. Instead of going under forums you would just go under groups. I went thru the May bandsters and got every ones surgery dates and I thought I would start off with listing every one according to surgery date so we would know who's off to surgery. So we could wish them luck and keep a eye out for them after surgery. Just things like that and what ever any one else might have in mind.

I know what you're going through w/ this liquid diet. Frustrated and i still have 8 days left. Day 1 was bad but day 2 i am having constant cravings. After surgery at least it will be easier because we can have different flavors and textures of food in time.

This has been a blessing and has made my surgery less fearful.

My surgery is for Wednesday. I am excited but yet scared of failing.

For those of you have surgery this week, does anyone else have the feeling that you have to clean and organizer their home before surgery?

Where did everyone find their Unjury powder?

I have to be on clear liquids for one week, full liquids for another two weeks and then mussy foods for four weeks.

Well I'm starting my 2 week diet today!! I worry about getting my water in since I don't drink it. But as I'm sitting here I'm drinking it so that is a start. I go to the doc on Thursday, so I dont know really what to expect there but we shall see. I have to start my liquids next Wed. that's two days before my surgery so that is great. I've read a lot of comments that some have to go 2 weeks or longer.

For the first time in a long time I was happy to get my period. I got it in time to not be on it for my period when I go into surgery... Lol

Mine should be winding down by Wednesday but still just one more thing to be self conscious about lol
