I had a small gain b4 surgery and it didn't affect me getting the surgery.

I had surgery the same day and down 20 lbs that's including my pre op diet...so sounds to me you're doing awesome!

I took a week off mainly bc I had a hiatal hernia repaired.

I'm not doing much of anything my doc did say to not lift any weights yet,but I'll be getting laid off from my job on the 27th so I'll be able to focus more on starting an exercise regimen!

My bandiversary was thurs and I'm down 20 lbs as of today! This is by far the best things I've ever done for myself! My first fill will be July 5th...def lookin forward to feeling some restriction again! Congrats to all of you!

Had surgery on a Monday...had sex on Friday...noo way I could hold out 4 wks..but my Dr never said how long to wait.

I noticed I was losing in my ass and breasts...wish it was my belly but I'm only 1 month post op as of today!

I have bcbs and it only took mayb 3 days after everything was filed to get approval. Hopefully you'll hear some good news soon!

I'm a new bandee as well but I can tell you this as far as my relationship with food goes...it's a struggle everyday to stay on track..to follow the rules like I should. I'm learning it's a lot more mental than I anticipated!

Wow sorry for the experience you had! Did you have a hiatal hernia repaired? I did and the first 4 days were brutal!! Hopefully you'll get some relief soon!

I personally wouldn't worry about what other people thought! This is a choice that you will have to live with! If you want to get it done go for it...those people don't have to live in ur body and take meds that's all you! Like the other lady I haven't told many people that I've had it done,but I'm only 3 wks out. Good luck with whatever decision you make!

To me it feels like choking I haven't had tha saliva part...tha absolute worst feeling!

I was just wondering if anyone knows how the surgeon decides what size band to put it...
