110 Pounds In Less Than 9 Months!!!!!

  • Popular Post

Just a quick note to share my excitement at hitting another mini-milestone. I can't believe I'm even writing this post!!! I just want to give hope to the newbys and people undecided about banding - you can be successful and lose a bunch of weight rather quickly like with gastric if you focus on what you're doing. I'm by no means perfect and I have been very bad about exercise - but I do stick to my 800 calories per day pretty religiously. I love you all for being there for me - you have no idea what your kind words, information and support have meant to me over the last year. BEST OF LUCK TO US ALL ON OUR JOURNEYS!!!!!!

Hi there everyone!!

I was just banded yesterday. I am very sore but I know that is to be expected. For anyone preparing for the surgery ... make sure you are on a high Protein diet (that include lean meats and protein shakes). The protein will actually allow you to full quickly ... however two days before the surgery you will need to be on an all liquid diet.

I am thankful to have the opportunity to read these blogs and hear from others. I know I was so scared to be knocked out ... but the staff treated me so kind ... it was very refreshing.

Good luck to you all. I am planning on weighing 140 tops (I'm 5'8") so this size should look pretty decent on me. :)
