This is awesome! It gives me so much hope! I haven't even had my initial visit yet (April 17th!) but I am already looking forward to getting this done and seeing a change! Is this kind of weight loss within 6 months common?

CONGRATS!!

Okay! 1st off dont travel cross country with two babies under the age of 3 LOL!!!

in the morning im not much of a eater... so i have a shake. The shake powder i buy is from Walmart its by BODY FORTRESS "super advanced whey protein" I have only tried chocolate and its OKAY not great but i really dont care. i blend it in the blender to make for easy mixing i mix the powder with GREAT VALUE (walmart brand) LIGHT original soymilk organic.....

For lunch i eat ROASTED chicken breat again from walmart. Its over by where they fry foods its already made little chickens.. i eat about a 1/2 cup of the chicken and most days i eat any GREEN veggie with it to fill me.

for dinner... dinner is hard for me at this point in the day i feel like i could eat everything and the paint off the walls if i could! lol

i eat turkey breat all white meat or again chicken... there are nights i do them in a salad with just lemon juice on of dressing...

im not a good menu person really. I pretty much hate food now.

i am a big night time snacker and what i go to is waffer Cookies and 2% milk a whole a cup.

i cheat all the time which sucks but its life and i dont kick myself i just go on with my day

WORKING OUT SUCKS even more LOL

i "jog" on my treadmill 3 to 4 times a week i do walking for 3 mins at 3.0mph then i up it to 4.5mph for 2 mins... for 30-45 mins

i do free weights i have no idea if i am doing it right but i do it LOL

i hope this helps someone and now that i am home feel free to ask me more i am up front and honest....

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
