Anyone Else - Tight The Next Day After A Few Drinks?

Yes, yes, I'm not supposed to drink regularly, this I know! My question is, after a couple/four glasses of wine, I notice the next day that my band is tighter than usual. It does gradually ease up as the day goes on. Dehydration probably? Anyone else experience this?

Also, I just realized today as I woke from a nap, that when I woke up I was as tight as I usually am in the mornings. Anyone else?

I would say that yes it is because of dehydration. Alcohol dehydrates and dehydration makes a band tighter.

I am always tight when I am retaining water- especially during my period- and I know alcohol commonly causes Water retention. That would be my assumption if it happened to me anyway. It should resolve itself in a day or two.

I can't tell you, as I have never had 4 glasses of wine since my band/weightloss. The biggest thing I found is that I get a high feeling after only a 1/2 glass, so I never have had that much!!!Karen
