Feb. Bandsters! I Just Got Home!

So I just got home! My surgery was Monday. I was supposed to be home yesterday but I began to have trouble breathing. They found that my lungs filled with mucus and it was affecting my breathing, so I had to stay one more day. No biggie. I was so surprised about how there was little to no pain after surgery. They kept giving me Vicodin every 4 hours even if I didn't feel like I needed it. It was awesome. However, yesterday when I staretd to coughing a lot, I needed 2 because I was super sore! I just wanted to share with all of you my experience! I hope everyone else has experiences as smooth and painless as mine!!!

Yay!

Congrats, Amanda! I'm sorry to hear you had the breathing trouble, but very happy to hear your overall experience was a positive one. Here's hoping the rest of your journey is as smooth and satisfying as the beginning. :)

I am so happy that it all went well Amanda.(Besides the mucus) I sure hope that I am lucky and have little to no pain after surgery!

I am happy for you, but a little pissed at the same time! My surgery was monday and from recovery to now, I was/am in horrible pain!! I have Hydrocodone but still very painful!

Were you sick before your surgery? What caused you to have the mucus? I figure coughing would be horrible after surgery.
