I Got Banded Today And I Feel Pretty Good

  • Popular Post

I'm so excited to finally be on the other side!! Surgery went pretty good today! I was in and out of the hospital in 7 hours. It is so nice to be more calm now....my nerves were horrible earlier today! I'm feeling pretty good so far and I hope I stay that way! I can't wait to start my new journey

I did pretty well too- just a couple days of pain meds, and that was more to stay on top of it. Keep walking, sip water (don't get dehydrated), do the broth and popsicle thing, and don't lift anythin

Congrats and it's wonderful to hear you're feeling so well!

take it easy and rest and walk when you can. i felt fine after 2 days of resting so i went a did some lite xmas shopping. other than the bad pulled muscle feeling on my left side, i never had any pain. im 6 weeks out, down 15 lbs including 6 lbs pre-op. now im kind of stuck at 15 for several weeks. hope all goes smoothly for you -congrats !!!

CONGRATS! And Happy New Bandday to you!! I *hope* I have this same feeling and post this Saturday when I get banded!!!

I did pretty well too- just a couple days of pain meds, and that was more to stay on top of it. Keep walking, sip water (don't get dehydrated), do the broth and popsicle thing, and don't lift anything over 10 lbs (DH jokes that I need a smaller purse). And even though I've been feeling pretty good, today- day 6- I feel even better! Yay!
