There are literally thousands of foods and exercises already in the database. You can add and edit both. You can do it on your PC or smart phone but most importantly, there is a wonderfully supportive community on MFP, including a group for lapbanders.

I have used fitday.com and Sparkpeople. I am using sparkpeople now because they off so much for free!! You can get meal plans exercise plans just everything.

I love Sparkpeople.com but I can't compare between it and any other because I've never used any other online weight loss program except Weight Watchers Points Plus Program, which is basically the same thing. Spark was just waaay more fun though

-I love my fitness pal! I use it to track my food and count calories. I also use the app on my phone.

I've tried the Realize site, Sparkpeople, Fit Day, Weight Watchers online and My Fitness Pal. I prefer MFP above the others. I very rarely have to actually type in the nutrition information for an item, it is usually already in the database. I love the ability to scan bar codes with my phone.

I also like the supportive bandsters on MFP. I'm Dulcislim on that site. If you choose to start using it, add me as a friend.

Thanks everyone! I signed up for Myfitnesspal.com it is awesome! Dulcislim I added you as a friend. If anyone else wants My username is dsanborn33 add me so we can keep up with eachother!

I used to use Fitday for the longest time. It did custom foods best when you want to enter in the nutritional value yourself. Searching for foods was not so great. I got a Fitbit for my birthday a week ago and love the Fitbit.com website for food tracking. Customizing foods is easy and there are TONS of pre-loaded foods where I don't have to look anything up.
