approved yesterday by bluecross/blueshield !!!! my pre=opp appt is tues nov 22. Can anyone tell me what the pre op diet generally consist of ? Im not concerned about sticking to it, i know its just temporary. im more concerned because i have a tendancy to get low blood sugar and get wobbly if i dont eat something like pb or a protein bar when i need to . any ideas ?

What were BC/BS requirements? I'm a little nervous that I won't be approved because my BMI is only 34 - but I have sleep apnea, fatty liver disease, and high cholesterol.

sandy you need to eat eat eat before you go!! U have to have that bmi of 35. Mine was borderlline but I found that I have shrunk! I am 5''4 insted of 5'5 !!
