Has anyone had dr lee au at Tri city regional?

I have my surgery scheduled there and with him. But I'm reading some shady stories about this place. I went through 1-800-GET-THIN.

How is everyone doing?

Hi, doing great, my surgery went smooth no complications, i was in pain the first 3 days but not really from the incisions but for all the air i felt in my chest and back, but Im over that, i have my first fill on Tuesday, Im really nervious about that, does it hurt?? ........ So far i had lost 38 pounds (including the pre op diet)

Hello, doing really good. Just had my 2nd fill and still loosing! :) I now see Dr. Ravden in San Diego, since it's getting harder to drive up to Dr. Lee. :( Dr. Ravden is good also. The needle for the fill doesn't hurt you barely feel it. What hurts for me is when he's pushing on the port to feel for the center. It's literally a 10 sec process, it's the waiting for the doc to come in is what takes forever.

Started exercising also... trying to train for my first 5k in February. It's almost around the time I got my surgery so it'll be a great accomplishment for my first year of lapband.

I think that's the Dr i will be seen to in san Diego. ..... I was watching some YouTube videos and i see some Drs give u a shot before to numb the are, did you get that?..... How much have you lost so far including the pre op diet??

Hi all. I have to agree about the pain when the dr pushes my port in and feels around w his fingers for the plunger on mu port. It is so sensitive there. I see dr au every month and he is worth the trip to Beverly hills. He pretty much gives me a fill when I ask for one. I have lost 45 pounds including pre op. I was banded November 4,2011. Dr au tells me that at the rate I'm losing, I will see my goal in about 6 months. I am getting a lot of compliments now and I can finally see te change in my self. I have a neck again and my big belly is now a tiny spare tire. I'm in love w the new me. Good luck to all of you who are on this wonderful journey. Don't b on a hurry. Take lots of pictures and do lots of before and after side by sides (photo frames ap) every month. I wish I can share mine. I don't know how to post. Can anyone help me post a pic

Congrats girl.... I can't wait to get close to my weight loss but Im still have a looong time to go, but i feel good now, with more energy, i don't see alot of difference when i look myself in the mirror but my clothes are definitely looser now and ppl notice it on me so that makes me feel good ;-)

baby angel, i've lost 25 including the pre op diet. I've never gotten a shot to get numb, he cleans the area with a couple of sterile wipes and then poke and fill. Lol

I have to agree with britneygirl about the pictures, it's big confidence booster to see the before and after shots every month. Sometimes you don't see it on the scale but you can feel it in your clothes, but the pictures really help. I even kept my big pants so I can really see how far I've come.
