Has anyone had dr lee au at Tri city regional?

I have my surgery scheduled there and with him. But I'm reading some shady stories about this place. I went through 1-800-GET-THIN.

Haha. Yeah I probably should have BUT I did have my surgery through this company and I have no complaints at all. They are very efficient and got me approved and banded within 3 months wait period. My surgeon dr au was great. And he his work is great. He left my scars very minimal to where they will b invisible within a year.

I'm not sure why 1-800-GET-THIN has such s bad rep. But what I can say is dont believe all you hear, trust your instincts and go wherever they make u feel most comfortable.

I am waiting approval for in network hospital for tri city, my doc would be lee au. I am nervous, but anxious. Good to hear you had a good expierence.

Amanda, good Luck with ur journey. I assure u that your in good hands with dr Au. He Is a fantastic surgeon. If u hav blue cross I'm pretty sure u can get an approval over the phone. The approval is very quick. Check out the status of yours by calling or going online.

Yeah, I cant wait. Dr Au did my endoscopy and he was great.

Oh, I got approved, surgery is for dec 23.

I know this is an old topic, but I had my surgery on 2/15 with Dr. Au. I also went thru 1-800-Get-Thin and Dr. Au has been super informative everytime I've seen him before, during & after surgery. I am just bummed he doesn't go to the San Diego office otherwise I'd keep him for all my fills, but Dr. Ravden at that office has been good too. But I'm glad I went thru this company they have been great!! Already down 10 lbs since the surgery and feeling great! :) Best to luck to everyone as we all go thru this journey together.
