I thought it would be interesting to see what kind of music you all are listening to. I personally am a huge fan of the Moody Blues, they would have to be my tip top all time favorite band.

After that, I like almost all classic rock. Tom Petty, Eagles, Foghat, Ozzy!

And am also VERY into Oakenfold, Sasha, Digweed, PVD.. if you know the names, you know the genre. *grins*

Strong Bad rocks! I've lost touch in the last 2 years or so, but back when he only had a handful of emails - the BEST. All time favorite - his children's book. Hilarious!

Nykee - have you seen MM live? We saw them back in 94 when no one had a clue who they were. They were opening for NIN and we all assumed it would be a girl band. Concert was in (of all places) Topeka, KS... known for it's "celebrity" Reverend Phelps. I won't even get started on him because I'll never stop, but the show was *amazing* and Twiggy Ramirez was just plain hot. The next day I had to special order the American Family CD. Had to!

I don't want to take this OT, but I'm sitting here laughing, remembering a time where I used to work -- a few of my co-workers and I would check Strongbad every day. We used to pull all kinds of pranks when someone was out. One of the guys was out and we burninated everything in his cube without cutouts of the paper flames and Trogdor. He kept everything up for like 2 years. Ah, the good ol' days.

Anything but heavy metal or rap. I'm teaching myself guitar and right now I'm working on Rockin' Robin and Ode to Joy.

I listen mostly to "jam bands". Gov't Mule, Dead, Widespread Panic, Allman Brothers, SCI and the list goes on---------

You name it, I'll listen to it, but it has to be of some sort of talent. No talent musicians and singers don't go well by me. I am a trained and practicing singer. And I drive my DH nuts cause I can hear a song and sing it back almost perfectly. I am one of those that walks through the grocery store singing to the muzak without noticing that I am doing it.

DVSABoss, I'm almost 50 (in June) and I've NEVER, repeat NEVER, been to a concert....for anybody.

My favorites are: Evanesence, Lacuna Coil, H.I.M., My Chemical Romance, Nox Arcana, Seether, Disturbed, Linkin Park, No Doubt, Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson, Green Day, U2, Duran Duran...I Listen to a variety of music but I am getting towhere I cannot stand country...it all sounds the same anymore and the funny thing about that is that we go to a 'country' bar every Friday night(the drinks are cheap!)...If they play the older stuff from the early 90's like Garth Brooks, Brooks and Dunn...etc...I am fine but anything else drives me nuts. So no, I don't 2-step and the thought makes me gag. But when the DJ throws out the dance music you bet your ass I am out there shaking my soon-to-be small ass! I like alot of dark, vampiric music too...call me weird but there is something so calming, soothing and romantic about the music. www.noxarcana.com If I listen to this music with my eyes closed it is so hypnotic and makes you picture yourself in a castle with a long flowing gown, candlelight and a cool breeze blowing through your hair. It makes my heart race to picture it. I think I should have been alive back then!! And I love the fact that my husband feels the same way. Light the candles, turn on the cd, turn off the lights and let the romance flow. :kiss2:
