Can you feel your band inside?

I was wondering if banded people feel the band inside....

Does it feel weird at first and you get use to it?

Never feel it. I had stomach pain after surgery, but that subsided after about a week.

I can feel the port but not the band itself.

Definitely feel the port. The more weight I lose, the more I feel it. But know, I don't feel the band.

Nope, just the port.

No I don't feel the band. Never have. I had a Hital Hernia repair so I felt that pain after surgery, but never the band.

I can not feel the band at all and Im afraid to ever feel the port lol! :P

i can't feel my band either, but can feel it inside when it is tight. Now my port is harder to feel than most. Mine is deep next to my belly button, so as i lose weight you can't see it. if i lay down and do like a situp, then i can feel it.

Just the port for me too.

Mine is deep next to my belly button,

I felt my band the first two weeks after surgery. It was so uncomfortable. It felt like it was rubbing up against my lungs. After that, I didn't feel it anymore. I do feel the port.

Thank you all very much. I have never been put to sleep and never had surgery so i was freaked out to have to feel something inside of me.

Thank you for all your replies!!
