Q about 5 years of documented weights

Hello everyone. My name is TInika and I am in the very begining stages of getting approved through my insurance company. I have started to gather my information and have seen my PCP to start my supervised nutrtion program.

(I have lost 10 pounds in the last 12 days!!!) I have a question regarding the 5 documentated weights with doctor notes requirement. I have documentation from 2006-2011 apart from 2008. I was self employed that year and unfortunately did not see a doctor at all that year. How rigid are they with this requirement? I have 5 years total... just not consecutive. I would hate for this to be an issue for me. Does anyone else have experence with this?

A lot of people seem to have this issue. You have a lot of history which is great compared to mine. I only provided 2009 and 2010, before that I really never went to the doctor. You can use gyne visits, etc. Make sure you write a letter along with your sumbission simply explaining that you did not see a doctor that year because you didn't have insurance, that should suffice.

I had some gaps in my 5 years too - had to reach out to specialists instead of just my primary care physician because being in my 30s with little health issues I did not see my PHP every year. The approval went through even though technically all 5 continuous years weren't there. I've heard of others proving things through pictures/video. Mine was United Health Care. Best of luck!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
