Your add was for carb solution to which you said was nasty.

But yet you say You can't beat the price for this nasty stuff ha ha.

If you don't like it just say you don't care for it At all! But the nasty stuff Ha Ha.

to me is what I see as a smart A*s.

I am sorry you see it that way but you are being overly sensitive about that response. I said "haha" just as laughter that I paid $10.00 for something that I found that tasted disgusting. Not a smart ass response at all. And by the way, I said I can't beat that price of the Muscle Milk you suggested considering it is sold for more than $5.00. That is what I meant. I was thanking you for suggesting a cheap Protein mix.

The best stuff I've ever found is by Syntrax (www.si03.com), called nectar comes in many different fruit flavors, such as Roadside Lemonade, Pink Grapefruit, Fuzzy Navel, Lemon Tea, Crystal Sky (kind of a fruit punch), etc.

They are 90 to 100 calories a scoop, 23 grams of Protein and NO CARBS. They also have what they call "sweets" in flavors like strawberry, chocolate Truffle, and others.

You can buy them directly from Syntrax or BariatricAdvantage.com or from Netrition.com (where I order them from).

If they sound interesting, but you're not sure.. go to the syntrax site, find their email and ask them about samples. They will usually send a first time customer a collection of all the different flavors for 1.00/packette. and no shipping.

Ooo I love samples! Thank you I will have to try that!

YAY that is awesome!! I was soooo excited when I got approved! It was all a breeze from there! So far, it is the best thing I've ever done! Congrats!

So I just bought this stuff called Carb Solutions Protein shake Mix, chocolate flavor. And WOW it is NASTY.

Verses

Muscle Milk Light.

First I see a Big Difference in Titles here..... But if some how I misunderstood you ! (Which I can't see how.)

Then I Definitely would apologise... But I don't see the mistake.

You looked at the jug and said "YEP that's the stuff."

It's called MUSCLE MILK LIGHT not CARB SOLUTIONS Protein Shake MIX.

They are not even made by the same company?????

I'll tell you one thing. I do not like their plane chocolate either. But that's me, and were not talking about the same companies here.

You take it for what you want, and I sure don't mean to offend anyone.

But I know this stuff is good, and good for you. I lost over 120lbs with this stuff,

and I'm not about to quit something that works.

I have a variety of flavors, and I enjoy at least 1 shake a day.

Hope this settles down the mistakes.

Shirley.

I've got a really great recipe for a chocolate smoothie but since I just got banded yesterday I havent had one in a few days and i already miss it.

1 cup fat free milk (90Cal/13 carbs/8 pro)

1 scoop GNC unflavored Soy Protein (60Cal/0 carb/13 protein) $9.99 for 11 oz

1 squirt of Fox's U-Bet sugar free Chocolate Syrup (which has no sugar/calories/carbs!!) $2.49 bottle

For a grand total total of 150 calories, 13 carbs and 21 grams of Protein each smoothie. Add a few ice cubes and blend-blend-blend is the key because tasting the loose powder can be unpleasant.

Thanks, Shirley.

I think we are having a HUGE misunderstanding here. My post, the start of this thread, had nothing to do with muscle milk. I was saying that I bought Carb Solutions and it was nasty and that I needed help finding a Protein Shake. You replied with advice about Muscle Milk, I replied back saying "can't beat that, thanks", and then you replied with the response of "don't be a smart ass". I was trying to explain myself but I guess it isn't getting us anywhere. I'm sure Muscle Milk is good, I'm most likely going to pick some up. Good job on your weight loss.

You can pick up MUSCLE MILK LIGHT on EBAY for $5.99 a jug. 2 scoops/8oz Water. Is all you need.

Just type in MUSCLE MILK and the light will come up also. Then start looking for the price.

and you will find her. She usually carries strawberry MILKSHAKE, and chocolate Peanut Butter BLEND.

Both are very good, and she does combine shipping. (YOU CAN'T BEAT THIS PRICE)

Oh wow you sure can't! I paid $10.00 for that nasty stuff haha. Thanks!

Here we go again.... I am telling you about the site, and you are saying you pd. $10.00 for that nasty stuff ha ha.

If that's the Muscle Milk Light.. Like I said no reason to be a smart a*s.

If your not talking about it, (WHICH YOU DID NOT MAKE CLEAR AT ALL) Then I apologise for a mistake that was made across the board here.

Tell me,,, does this put it to rest yet?

Shirley.

Okay, I was talking about paying $10.00 for the nasty Carb Solution stuff that I previously bought. I explained all of that in one of my posts to try to get you to understand what I meant. Once again, in response to your first post to my thread. I meant: "Wow, Muscle Milk for $5.00 is a great deal. I paid $10.00 for Carb Solutions, which was unpleasant to the taste. Thank you for telling me about the good deal on Ebay." That is how I meant to say it. I'll be more descriptive next time.

:PI opened my sample pack today and tried the "Caribben Cooler" one....it tasted like a watered-down pina colada!! I only mixed it with Water, but next time will try adding it with crushed ice and maybe add some pineapple juice or coconut milk.....it wasn't as bad as I expected!!! Might even add some fresh or frozen fruit.... looking forward to trying all of the flavors except the capuccino (don't care for coffee) and the fuzzy navel (don't like peach)....

I bought the sample pack for maybe $15 including shipping, it arrived FAST, and has 10 flavors. I didn't get to pick the flavors though. Each sample packet has 20 g Protein if you mix the entire packet with 8 oz. Water.< /span>

Ooo I love samples! Thank you I will have to try that!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
