Found a pretty decent ready made protein drink....

I've been trying different premade protein drinks so I'm ready when surgery arrives and I have to rely on these. I went to Vitalady and ordered some samples and even some ready made "shakes." I am picky and wishing they tasted like a Wendy's chocolate frosty but have been unsuccessful. Today, I opened an OhYeah cookies and cream...success. I can drink this one......granted I have a cold but it tastes pretty good. I've tried Pure Protein in the bottle and pitched them. I'll buy more of this OhYeah brand. so far so good.

Premier protein ready to drink from costco is also very good; avail. chocolate and vanilla. 30 g protein 160 cal.

Thanks for the info! I need to start testing out protein drinks too!

My surgeon put me on Chike drinks for my 2 week pre op diet. I'm not a big fan of all of them, but I can tell you the chocolate is spot on for a melted Wendy's frosty. If you go to their website www.chikenutrition.com you can order a little sample. I hope this helps!

Personally I also like the banana flavor but it definitely is banana-y! :Banane34:

I know Oh Yeah Protein Bars are very tasty. I only get the snack size cuz the large ones are too many calories for me.. but it makes sense that their Liquid Protein would be tasty too.

One question.. is it whey Isolate? and how much protein in a serving? We're told to try to use Whey Isolate and no more than 20 to 25 grams of protein per serving (our bodies can't process more than that and it stresses the kidneys). Also what is the carb, sugar and other nutritional info? Hmmm maybe I should just go check the website.

It is 14 ounces with 32 grams of protein, but I'm not supposed to finish the full 14 ounces, so I split this in two "servings." OhYeah! Proprietary Protein Blend (Milk Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Concentrate, Calcium Caseinate), 3 grams of sugar and lactose free. The 14 ounce bottle has 220 calories, again, I'm not supposed to drink the full 14 ounces, so I split it in 1/2....110 calories per serving. This is for the Cookies N cream that I bought, didn't check out the others yet.
