4th fill and can keep no liquids down after 24 hrs.

I got my 4th fill yesterday. I was banded in June of 09 and my last fill was in November of 09. I have a Lapband and went from 6 cc's to 7 cc's. I can now keep no fluids down. Everything I have drank be it room temperature, cold or hot has come back up about 30 min later. Is this normal or should I call my Dr?

I would call your doctor. Not being able to keep fluids down for 24 hours is not good...you don't want to become dehydrated. It sounds like 1cc was a little too much at once.

Yep, get back to the doc as soon as possible so they can take out .5cc, instead of having to drain you. The longer you wait, the most irritated your stoma will become... basically more inflamed and then you are just taking steps backwards instead of forward. I would suggest going asap.

I called my Dr. He is out of town in Washington DC. He told me to go to the ER and they will call one of his partners to come up there and unfill me a little bit. I hate doing this. Just waiting on my boyfriend to come home so he can take me since I don't feel comfortable driving myself.

So, I spent 6 hrs at the ER, the oncall dr for my facility was stuck at home. I ended up meeting him at 10am (was supposed to meet at 815) this am. He took out 3 cc's. Instant relief. Came home and slept 4 hrs (oh and ate a bowl of grits). I confirmed with him first and he said I can eat whatever I want since I've been through this ordeal. LOL. So I just had some cottage cheese and the small portion filled me up.

Went and saw my Dr today. He thinks the reason that I got so tight was because I was overfilled before my fill. I had started with 6 cc's back in nov 09, and last friday I had 5.5cc's in there. He said that is normal. He put 1.5 cc's in there today which brought me back up to 5 cc's. I have an appt in 2 wks with the nutritionist and in 4 weeks with the Dr again to see how I'm doing and If I need another fill.
