I know what you mean! I was banded on 11/22 and will not have my first fill until January 7th. So, I have NO RESTRICTION!! Overall, I did better than what I could have, but I still ate more than I should. I will get back on track tomorrow when the buffet of food is no longer staring at me!

I went into the holidays going to lose weight lost 3 lbs which is hard for me since I am at last 15 lbs or so. But the last 2 days I have lost all control. Tomorrow is back to liquids for a cople of days till I can refocus. I did exercise everyday but all it took was one stupid carb full of sugar and I am lost. Tomorrow is a new day for all of us!

I feel the same way. I overdid things a bit too much over the Christmas holiday, starting with my brothers Christmas party that he hosted for his employees. It was the first and hopefully ONLY time that I completely went overboard and caused myself to become physically sick. No throwing up thankfully. but I sure was miserable for solid half hour till the food passed through my esophagus. I confessed to my Lapband doc and got my much deserved lecture. Ate a bit too much at family dinners Christmas Eve and yesterday too so am thankful those celebrations are past and I can concentrate on getting back on track like I should be. Today is a new day. :)

I was off to a good start, but then I took a nosedive!! I just got a fill on the 21st, but it is definitely not enough, so I have no problem eating at all! I did try to stick with Protein foods like the meats and cheeses, but went downhill from there! Now with a blizzard on the way I am stuck in the house, so I am hoping to refocus and get back on track!

I am hoping the 5lb gain over the last week is a temporary thing! The scale fluctuates so much for me it is hard to tell. I have been eating more as I am no where near restriction. I only have 4cc's in a 10 cc band. I do feel some slight restriction at times so I am pray the next fill Feb 24th cinches me up tight!

I didn't think I overdid it too bad but around 2am...I was in agony. I didn't have any "stuck" issues as I was eating but I definitely felt as it I was wearing pants that were 3 sizes to small! Horrible to feel as if I was "clogged" up! Couldn't throw up so it just sat there like a dead weight. Took over 7 hours to feel a bit better! Thank god the holidays are over!

I get my 1st fill this coming Tuesday...should I go on liquids beforehand? I still feel full from yesterday!!

Add me to the list! I ate carbs and sugar...yikes! I went back to Protein only today but I'm still thinking about sugar Cookies and chips! Good idea Cheri - I'm gonna do a liquid fast for a couple of days to get my mind and body back in balance!

God Bless Everyone!

OMG!!! i ate soooo bad since Christmas Eve but I am back on the grind today. Counting calorie, measuring my food and of course drinking lots of Water. Hopefully the 5 lbs is just Fluid cause I have been going to the bathroom a lot from all the water I'm drinking. I am focused on getting these last 25 lbs off....looking forward to maintenance.

I also will be doing liquids for a few days to get back on track. I lost it a few months ago and need to get back. I have an appt on 1/10 and right after that he will schedule me for a fill. I need one.

ME too! LOL B)

I am one with no fill yet as well... uggh! I enjoyed (a lil too much), I did though notice I couldn't eat as much as I could before but the carbs got the best of me. Holidays are just never that exciting because I lose control with food.

Oh well, they are done (basically). I'm back on track today and gonna do my new Wii BLChallenge workout when I get home.:)

I am so dissappointed in myself. I gained 3 lbs over the past few days. I have been eating and drinking things that I shouldn't. I am very down on myself and that is a recipe for disaster for me. Tomorrow morning I am going to get back on the wagon!

I ate quite a few things I shouldn't have on Christmas (even though I told myself I would only eat the healthy sides I brought), and I have been suffering ever since! I've spent so much time in the bathroom paying for every unhealthy thing I consumed! I was so mad at myself after all my hard work! I'm back on track now, I'm just hoping that my body will be ready to drop some more pounds soon!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
