  1. I am also starting to use MFP again. My screen name is mair627.
  2. Definitely a soft stop for me
  3. Feel free to add me. mair627
  4. I just signed up for MFP. I am looking for something to help me. Hopefully this tool will help also, I have been stuck. One question, it is showing me can have 165 carbs, can I change that? Also, I am hoping it gives me some ideas for lunch, I am totally lost when it comes to lunch.
  5. I am going to try counting carbs. I was looking with how many I should have and I am glad I found this thread. My doctor wants very low carb, but I really havent been strict, now I am stuck for over a year and its time to get it moving again, and watching my carbs.
  6. I have been at a plateau for longer than I could ever imagine. I am going to try that maybe that would work for me. I find myself eating throughout the day and I know that my dr said that I should only eat 3 meals and no snacking. Great post, I am going to give that a try.
  7. I also get a pain in my left shoulder/back pain, when I eat too much. I also get very uncomfortable and feel very ucky. lol
  8. I think that everyone is different, I was told only to eat 900 calories by my metobolic specialist. I had the band 2 years. I still have trouble with breads, it depends on my band that day. Today, I tried a bite of a bagel, which I have been wanting for months, and I regret it, I have been in the bathroom all morning. It got stuck, I learned my lesson big time...
  9. Count me in also. Name, real or screen~ Marianne Age~43 Weight on February 28th~ 220 Goal Weight for March 31st~ 210 Exercise Goal for March~ try to walk each night Dietary Goal for March~ watch my carbs ( I am a carbohaulic) Personal Goal for March~ To get closer to onederland Date Banded~ 12/18/08 Total Weight Loss Since Banding~ not alot (40lbs)
  10. I'm also from North Jersey, I had my surgery by Dr. Nussbaum at Morristown Memorial. I was banded 12/16/08.
  11. Unfortunately I wasn't able to start it this week. I ended up with the stomach virus that is going around here, but I lost 7lbs. I haven't had solid food in days.
  12. I am going to do the 5 day pouch test starting tomorrow. I have been not following anything for awhile and I usually do it to try to get back on track. So I am going to do it again starting tomorrow.
  13. I am banded for 2 years. I am stuck at 40 lbs and I have now been following the new WW program before the holidays and loved it. I am going to restart again tomorrow so I can keep track of what I am eating, because what I see here is that you still need a structured plan to keep track of calories and I really want to finish what I started. I cant afford to go right now, but I have the calculator and all of the new books. I also just bought some lean cusine lunches for work next week.
  14. I would also like to join this thread. I definately need to recommit this year and finish what I started 2 years ago.
  15. I would love to do a valentines day challenge to get back on track. Please keep me posted if someone creates one. I have no idea how to start one.
