Avg # of fills under Fluoroscopaty

Recommended Posts

Hey guys I will be having my first fill under fluoroscopaty. I'm not scheduled till mid Dec which is a bummer. I am soo hungry lately. I'm sticking with the program, but hoping the fill will make things easier. I was wondering how many fills it took some of you to get to your sweet spot if you used fluroscopaty.

My first fill was the only one done under fluoro - the rest have been just numb, push, fill (no problems). It took about 5 fills to reach my "sweet" spot.

However, I got my first fill 4 weeks post surgery - 4 weeks between every time.

I had my first and so far only fill under Fluro....I dont know if I'm at my sweet spot but I feel satisfied after about 1 cup of food and stay satisfied for about 3 hours...If that's the sweet spot then I suppose I have it and only had one fill... but then again I have the small 4cc band and am at a fill of 3cc's.

Thank you guys. I so hope it helps. I have felt great since surgery. Really not hungry. Now though I am starving and don't get a fill until Dec 13. Did your first one help even if you didn't get to your sweet spot?

I have not had any of my fills under Fluro but I have had three so far which has brought me to 5.66cc's in my band and I feel pretty good right now and the last visit my dr. said I don't really need anymore at this time b/c I seem to be losing on a good pace....

I am 15 months post op and all 4 of my fills have been with floro. I only have 3.8 ccs but could not take anymore. I had one unfill of .2cc about 1 month ago. I have not had hunger since my first fill.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
