spoke to soon....her story was very touching to me...my apologies, it was eye opening for me.......

Just saw the trailer for to nights epi....it looks really interesting I hope I stay up long enough to see it.

I found some clips on hulu.com

I've never seen the show either.

It is on the E! channel, it is a show about eating disorders. I can't believe I missed last nights! The link is below. It will tell you when its showing again...last 2 episodes will be on today at 2:00 and 3:00 central time.

What's Eating You | E! Online

Edited by Mandyrae

I was so glad to see Mona gain the (emotional) tools necessary to best use her band.

I thought she was brave and honest just like everyone who particpates in that show. I myself am a Recovering food Addict.

What her story did for me was instill compassion for myself and others because "any" addition is a disease and it can take many forms. It reminded me how blessed I am and to not be so hard on myself when I don't do everything "perfect".

It also reminded me that it's only been six months since my surgery and I was just like her. I need to be humble, and in my opinion, so does everyone else.

God Bless!

I saw the show last night - so proud of Mona! She is on LBT and posted the other day to tell us she was going to be on Whats Eating You. I hope she comes back to let us know her progress. In her ticker, it says that she has lost over 100 pounds, so it seems like shes doing great! I'm glad that she was so brave to share her story with the world. Its hard for people to understand that many overweight individuals also have an eating disorder that is just as serious as those who are emaciated with bulimia or anorexia.
