  2. I use myfitnesspal and my fitbit... I do feel though for tracking food myfitnesspal is the best since it has a HUGE database. I have talked a few of my friends to sign up but no one is following through so all I see all day is my postings... so sad.. lol. Would love new friends to help encourage me! Saxypanda is my ID on there =)
  3. I just got my fitbit yesterday! I did research on both and found that for the price the Fitbit did a lot more and I also like how small it is. =) Anyone that has a fitbit want to be friends on the website?
  4. My doc said it depends on the size of your upper stomach.
  5. I also need to find a way to keep myself busy, during the day I am very good about what I eat and how much but at night I struggle. I decided to take a knitting and crochet class (to see which one I like more) at Joann Fabics so I can give myself something to do at night to keep my mind off food.
  6. I love it too! I have yet to have any problems with cereal, I love cherrios.. especially honey nut and chocolate cherrios! Instead of eating it at breakfast though I eat it my treat/snack
  7. I find on days my band is acting up and I'm not able to eat much I get hiccups a lot.
  8. LOL you guys are funny! It is the same guy, force of habit that I still call him my boyfriend. =) I have not been on in forever! Fiances mom was in town for 2 weeks for Christmas and with getting things ready for the wedding I have been super busy and just haven't been online at all. My lips are MUCH better! Still I tiny bit dry but nothing you can see. I have been watching my Protein intake and have been making sure I am getting the amount I need everyday, along with drinking a ton of Water. I still need to find a new Vitamin. I have been so busy that I just pushed that aside (which I know I shouldn't have) I plan on getting on next week and ordering some real ones instead of the kiddie Vitamins I have been taking! Thank you everyone for the tips and the well wishes!!! Only a few more days!!!
  9. Since surgery I have been noticing that my lips have been really dry.. and in the last month they have been getting worse...they have been swollen and super dry, the corners crack and they just hurt... I was complaining to my boyfriend last night and he said I needed more protien. I thought he was joking but this morning I looked it up and sure enough servere dry lips are a sign of protien deficiency, along with Iron and B2. I thought I was doing good with my protien intake, before surgery I wouldn't even eat meat and now I crave it so I thought I was even getting more protien then I was before. Has anyone else gone through this? I take flintstones chewables but I take it thats not enough.. any ideas on a really good Vitamin?
  10. Walk it off, always helped me!!
  11. I walk around, it may take 5-10 min depending on how bad I get stuck but it works every time. I can eat just about anything if I take it slow and really chew it up...it's only when I am not paying attention and try to inhale my food that I get stuck.
  12. I think most people have gas pains after surgery. I know mine lasted almost a week.
  13. I did not feel any real restriction until I got my last fill 2 weeks ago and now have 7.5 in my 14 band. Have lost 10 lbs since then!! I am set for another fill next week but I am wondering if I still need to go in. I think I may and just see what my doc thinks =)
  14. Awesome! I am slow at losing too, only have lost 21 lbs so far but I do have more energy and I started at a size 26 pant and am now at 22.. I am happy with that!
  15. That happen to me the first time I got a fill as well. Not sure what it was from but I quickly forgot about it. I have had 2 other fills since and it never came back. You can always call your doc and ask them but I wouldn't worry about it. =)
  16. Ever since my BF became a diabetic last year I have been eating (mostly) a sugar free diet. The thing that gets me is the drinks that say right on the front of the bottle, no sugar added. I buy it and think man this is sooo good and I look at the back... yeah 40+ grams of sugar per serving!!! I know fruits have natural sugar and all but how can they put on the front no sugar added?! I swear the drinks that say no sugar added tend to have VERY high amount of sugar in it.
