Holy cow, you guys! Look at me!

Holy canoli, what a difference a week makes!

Even though I was only just banded last Tuesday, check this out!!!

The first pic is from last Monday (1 day pre-op), the second set are from today.

This gives me renewed energy to keep on with the liquid diet!!!

You look great!!! I could only hope that I could nearly that good. I will have my surgery on 10/18 at Emory Midtown in Atlanta. Dr. Srinivasan is my surgeon. Being older might make a difference in how it goes. But I'm trying to be positive. Keep up the good work! You are an example and an incentive for the rest of us!! God bless. PitPat

Anyone using Emory? Or one of their doctors? If so, I would love to hear from you.

Congrats to you :smile2: Me like an idiot, I took my before pics in a black shirt and jeans. I think it hid some of the creases that have disappeared the last month.

For me, I cant believe how many people that tell me how much different my face looks. It went from puffy to now a hint of cheekbone lol. Im excited to see whats going to happen when I drop the 100.

Good job, I got banded on 10/8, I'm also losing pretty fast...keep it up, you are an inspiration

Congratulations! You look great!:smile2: Gook luck on the rest of your Journey.

yep, and this is only the beginning!!! wait more months and you will not recognize yourself....congrats and keep up the good work.:smile2:

Thanks so much, everyone!

As far as "secrets", well, the only secret was my liquid diet. It kinda sucks, but not as much as it did pre-op! I'm on liquids until next Monday, when I start mushies.

I expect things to change once I start eating, and until I get to the proper fill. But in the meantime, this is really fun!

Day 3 post-op was the worst in terms of pain and swelling, after that the recovery seemed to pick right up.

Good luck to all of you who are about to be banded, and congrats to all of you who already have. Thanks again for your kind words!!

Congrats my tummy area is doing the same thing and I'm telling you I am so excited to see the fat rolls go away

You look great, congrats to you!

OMG! that is incredible. I am a year out, down 66 lbs. and only see it now. That is awesome!

You look great! Keep it up!
