I met with my general physican on 06/30/10 to discuss a referral for the surgery.  Dr. John Bagnato was the recommended physican.  My first appointment with Dr. Bagnato was on 07/20/10.  My information was submitted to BCBS the same day.  I  received a letter from BCBS on July 28th asking that I submit a psych evaluation and proof of previous participation in a weight loss program such as Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, etc.  I completed my psych evaluation on 08/12/10 and submitted all the requested information to BCBS a few days after that.  My surgery was approved by BCBS on 09/17/10 and my surgery date is scheduled for 10/19/10.  Words cannot even begin to describe my feelings about beginning this fantastic new journey in my life!
