Any ideas to get the weightloss going..

I am at 6cc in a 10c band,, just got a fill last week.. eating less than i was before the fill but probably still a little too much --

I am doing mostly meats and salads - lettuce tomatoes cukes

Until the end of august i was losing a steady 2-3 lb a week.. but not now, ive lose 1lb in the last week.

I am not goig to make my goal of 100 gone by my bandversary

Ive lost 87 to date and my year is up on the 13 of oct.

I need a kick start,, any ideas other than another fill which they wont do until my next appointment on oct 26th.

My first recommendation would have been to focus on Protein and nonstarchy veggies--but you're already doing that!

Is it possible, do you think, that your rate has simply slowed because you are now at the point where you need to lose less? A pound a week after an 87-pound loss--when you are so close to your goal--may be a realistic expectation.

That said, are you exercising regularly? For me, exercise is absolutely critical. I'm at 83 pounds down, and was slowing down a lot---and bumping up my exercise just a bit got things rolling a little faster for me again.

I second Betsy's plug for excersise. It's just too good a thing not to do it. It's tough to get started, but it becomes second nature. It becomes just part of your day. Start out slow and gradually increase the intensity and/or duration. When I stalled, I increased the speed on the treadmill and the scale started moving again. I lost 107 pounds in about 10 months. You can do it!

Wow, that's awesome. I'm not really exercising now before my surgery like I'm supposed to. Just so tired. Maybe it will be easier when I start loosing.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
