I was just amused that:

Now i wash my clothes in hot Water, hoping that they shrink!

I save so much money now that i dont look for sales on cases of diet pepsi and Snacks.

I read nutritional labels for the first time in my life!

I bought my first bra with an underwire in it!

I enjoy looking at those home movies now..knowing the difference in me.

What about you?!

My rings and watch spin

Thick socks in my shoes. I get cold, I was always sweating before.

I'm doing more with the kids, energy.

The betterhalf says I much happier now, and so is he.

I'm trying to shrink my clothes too. (Gave some to a Womens shelter) I need to get more clothes that fit.

Isn't it grand.

I'm forcing myself to eat left overs.

I'm drinking way more Water than coffee...my skin is clear!

I'm cold all the time...before I would sweat like a pig in a pen in July...what a difference 25lbs make!

I've found things to do with my time rather than eat...

I've arranged my closet by size rather than color...

I've found that at times I could mug someone for a coke!

i find myself...

throwing away left overs!

not cleaning my plate!

rearanging my closet and dresser by size!

trying on clothes i know will be to small to see if they fit yet! and giving a fashion show to my boyfriend when they do!

Checking myself out in windows, mirrors etc.!

pampering myself more! facials, manicures, massages!

donating or consigning clothes are to big rather than holding on to them for when i gain the weight back!!!

saying 'thank you' when people comment on my weight loss!

I CAN SIT IN THE BATH TUB AND MY THIGHS AREN'T TOUCHING THE SIDE OF THE TUB.

BEFORE SURGERY I COULDN'T WEAR MY WEDDING RING AND NOW I CAN'T WEAR BECAUSE IT'S TOO BIG

A REGULAR SIZE TOWEL DOESN'T LOOK SO SMALL ANYMORE

MY FAMILY CAN EAT HAMBURGERS AND I'M JUST FINE EATING A salad

I'M PANICED BECAUSE NONE OF MY CLOTHES FIT ME, AND IT'S NOT BECAUSE THEY'RE TOO SMALL.

I CAN FEEL BONES ON MY BODY THAT I FORGOT I HAD, LIKE MY HIPS AND RIBS

I CAN CROSS MY LEGS

AND THE SEX LIFE HAS BEEN WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!

I used to have a fan on all the time - no longer. I'm freezing.

I can cross my legs, too!

I'm bleaching my teeth.

When I buy a meal at the cafeteria at work, I eat it for three days in a row and then throw the rest away.

I have way more energy.

I have more confidence.

When I look in the mirror, I recognize myself. My face looks more like it did for the first 30 years of my life.

Bottom line: I'm happier.

Nancy

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
