Over the last 2 weeks I've gotten to know some REALLY nice folks here on the site, and the support here is just fantastic. I would love to meet some locals to the Orange County area .... Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Anaheim, Costa Mesa etc. I have not received my band.... I'm still in the approval stages but I thought there must be someone out here in Southern California that has been banded and wants to share their story and their wisdom to someone closer to home. Here's hoping, :)

How are you doing? Are you going to a support group meeting in the area? I had my surgery May 7th. and am doing well. Back to work and zero pain.... only mild discomfort.

I'm doing good. I have not started going to any support groups yet. I've been busy with my son getting him ready for prom and graduation. May and June are really busy months for me. Maybe after all the graduation stuff is done. Glad to hear you are doing well. Good luck on your journey.

I know that I have spoke to some of you about starting a monthly support group meeting. I'm ready to do it and wanted to know when everyone, who is interested, is available. It would be at my house in Westminster. I'm off of the 405 @ Beach. I was thinking of doing it on a Thursday night about 7:00. Enought time for everyone to get home from work, get dinner, and maybe relax a little before meeting up. I wanted to schedule one for this month and really want to get the ball rolling.
