Good luck on the test! I would assume you'd have some sort of symptoms if you were getting the diabetes...

Mine is in 2 weeks, I didn't even have to do the 2nd test last time, so I'm optimistic it'll be the same this time. Although I am like 40lbs heavier in this pregnancy than I was with Carson. Wah. I miss my diet pills.

Hi Girls~

I took today off and have been chillaxing all morning, even took a 30 min nap. I've been reading by book, OMG I love it!!

Not much else to report. I think EVERYONE should take Tuesdays off!

Ha Ha! Irony: Having a big ol' ad for Restaurant Coupons in the middle of a lapband thread! :tt2:

Tough soccer game last night, went into double overtime, but still ended tie 2-2.

Today is loads of work (Tuesday off? I'm not getting a day "off" work 'til maybe sometime next week... if I'm lucky. wah.)... take dd to riding... take ds to soccer practice, and then jazz band... oooh, there is one good thing -- coffee w/a friend @ 10am!

And so it goes...

Make it a good one! xoxo / coco! :smile2:

Good afternoon, Violets..

Lazy day today. Ethan came over a little while ago as Jen got called in to work. I have choir tonight and then dinner out. Other than that it has been playing on the computer, setting up a Facebook page for the church and doing laundry. Oh.. and I got to watch Grady for a couple of hours this morning while Kris got her hair colored. Fun, fun!

Hope everyone is having a great day!

My cold is much better and I think I might even survive this one!

Hello Girls~

I went back to work and feel sooo much better. I am so glad I took yesterday off instead of running and running, and then I'd be sick for longer. Still a bit stuffy and a tad "coughy" but all is well.

I did my pysch eval last week, and now I just wait for final ins approval!!! Please cross your fingers and toes for me...and send purple power that I am approved.

Susanne's mom is still here and we've had a really nice time. Susanne will take her home this Sat.

I have my 25th high school reunion thingy this Friday and Saturday. Friday is the homecoming game and Saturday is a reception. I also MUST go to an art show Sat night at my friends house...soooo I am double booked. Not sure which will win...I'll keep you posted...maybe both!!!

Tomorrow is Thursday...YEAH!!! I am engrossed in my book and hope to chill and read this weekend!

OK...that is it for me!

love you girls!

Judy...any pix yet???

xoxoxo:biggrin::party::eek::grouphug::lol::smile::tt1::tt2::hurray::w00t::wink2::party::party::hurray:

Good morning, Violets..

Today is a beautiful Fall day. 48 degrees right now with a high expected of 62. The sun is shining and the leaves are falling. I'm headed out to the backyard in a little bit to spend some time trimming, cutting back and transplanting. Ethan, Joe and the Bobster are going golfing this afternoon. That will be my nap time! Nothing on the agenda today other than that.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

PamELa.. I sent Freedom to my Kindle last night. Will start it after I finish Such a Pretty Face.

LOL Judy, I hope you love it as much as me! I am still in the middle of such a pretty face, but will finish it as soon as I finish Freedom...I just couldn't wait!

OK...back to work.

Hope everyone is well!

xoxo

what happens to the books you read on kindle once you finish them? Do they stay on there, or do you take them off? It would be kind of fun to have a "library".

They stay on in an archive unless you want to delete them.

Just finished watching Project Runway. Only one more episode, then I won't know what to do on Thursday nights anymore!!!

Everyone sleep well...

Morning Violets~

Tonight is the homecoming game and the kick off to the reunion. I am SURE I'll drop that 50 lbs by tonight! haha...oh well! Going to the game w/ Jenny, since Susanne's mom is still here.

But first I gotta work! But they are taking a few tests today:biggrin::) (catch up day for me).

Have a wonderful day. I am thankful for my wonderful friends and family! What are you thankful for?

how many books can you have in the archive?

Did you decide to go to the reunion?

Have a great weekend everyone.

I work both jobs today and tomorrow and Sallys on Sunday. Three in a row. At least I have Monday off.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
