Good morning, Violets..

Another cloudy day here today. Sure wish the sun would come out. I'm getting in the pool today, no matter what. Will just have to stay under the Water as much as possible and get out when I'm done exercising instead of floating around on the lounger.

I had therapy yesterday and then made Cookies, cooked dinner and ventured out of the house to walk around K-Mart. Not good. Came home and then knee was throbbing. I had to take 2 pain pills before bed. Thank goodness they do the trick. Will definitely have to remember them for the trip next month.

Haydee, can't wait to see the bump!!! I absolutely LOVED being pregnant. The best for you will be when Sophia starts moving around. That's the part I miss the most.

Michelle... time is flying by, isn't it?? High school and Jr. High.. wow.

Janie.. hope you're feeling ok today. My percocet pain pills are my sleeping pills now. They are great for getting me to fall asleep, but dang the weird dreams I get!!

My jeans are starting to get a little snug so I know I need to start controlling the eating more. I don't get my fill until Sept. 20 and it won't be more than 1 cc. Of course I made cookies yesterday and Bob bought me sea foam and we polished off the ice cream cones... arghhhhhhhhhh. And of course I can't do any meaningful exercise except for the stationary bike and that's really, really slow.

I better get going and get dressed for the day. Kris usually comes over on Tuesdays after she goes grocery shopping. I get to babysit Grady tomorrow for a couple of hours while she gets her hair cut and colored. Not sure I'm ready, but will be nice to love him up for the first time in 6 weeks.

Everyone have a wonderful day.

Haydee, I have the bad round ligament pains, I really don't remember them till late in C's pregnancy, but I pull them all the time now. Getting up out of bed, sneezing (which I do A LOT), coughing, even when I pee sometimes. And it makes me buckle over and hold my stomach till it stops.

We're not painting the room till we find out the sex, we just got the furniture put together, and trying different layouts. That room is about double the size of Carson's (feels like it anyway), and we're leaving 1 computer/computer desk & 1 shelf of books in there... along with the baby furniture.

Yesterday I was putting the changing table pad on there and Carson was in there with me and he kept pointing at the crib making noises, so I was telling him "We're in the BABY's room! Let's find YOUR room, where's Carson's room?" and he'd run down the hall LOL. So maybe I can try to get him to understand that some other person is going to be living in there.

He's at the point where he picks things up so quick now. he at least attempts to repeat back what I say. he was playing with the buttons on my shirt this morning and I only said it once "buttons" and he goes "Buhbahs" and looks so intently at them.

Yay so I lost my post. Here I go again...

I'm so excited about disney! I can't wait! Will me and laura be able to ride anything? Ill be 24 weeks along...

A week after I come back from PS my parents are taking us on a trip to Mexico City to see the cathedrals. I'm so excited about it too. That will be my last trip until after sophia comes...

Judy, the baby is kicking up a storm now and I'm absolutely loving it. Makes me want to cry sometimes to just think that this little bitty thing is our baby. Juan was able to feel her kicks last night and he was so excited.

Laura, oh Carson is getting so big! I can picture his big toothy smile when you talk about him. I can't wait to see what your room looks like finished. The furniture was beautiful!

So I've got to start looking for a pediatrician. My ob's office asked me to start looking already. What criteria do I need to use? What's important and what doesn't matter?

Judy, I heard that the egg recall is now for michigan now too? Is that right? Are y'all off eggs for the time being or just being careful?

Our eggs were under recall, I was too lazy to figure out the numbers and what not. The risk of salmonella (sp) just 4x'd what it usual is, and that was hardly worth the outcry to me. I only use eggs to cook inside stuff, I don't eat eggs.

People around here keep making comments about me not being able to ride anything at Disney Land, so that could be true, BUT I didn't plan to ride anything anyway. I'm not a thrill seeker. The only thing I normally ride is It's a Small World---do they have that at Disney LAND Michelle?? I know I could still ride that if they have it. I love the ambiance and atmosphere of amusement parks.

When did you start feeling her Haydee?? I missed that post! Woohoo, isn't it great? I can't wait.

I started feeling her at 20w 2 days. Last Saturday. Just a tiny little nudge at first but I knew what it was. Then more and more nudges. Now I feel tiny little kicks. Only about an 1/8 are felt on the outside of my tummy right now. The feeling is exhilirating...

I'm ok with not riding much. I usually like all the big roller coasters and the big rides but I'm ok with just being there. Love the atmosphere too!

Can't wait to take sophia to visit cinderella's castle in a few years!

Hello!

That is so neat Haydee!! I bet that is such a special feeling that you can't begin to describe.

I may not be 24 weeks pregnant but I can't ride any rides. Unless they don't move your head neck at all. Rides used to be my favorite thing in the world, I love to go fast, and never got dizzy or anything fast forward to 13 years ago.........Now I can't even walk a straight line sober!!

Iron is going fine, will be glad when Monday is my last one!!! It is long and BORING!! Not to mention despressing because it is in the cancer treatment center.

Wow, I am rambling again!!!!!!!

Off for the day!!!

No, the prices were in a table & it didn't copy. It's $76 for an adult for 1 park/1 day. The second price was child. So its $76.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
