What can you add to your protein shake?

I asked my doctor's office if I can add a banana to my protein shake and they said it was ok. Did anyone add anything to their protein shake without adding too many calories? I start on the liquid diet tomorrow any suggestions are welcome.

I was advised by my doctor to use the powder form of sugarfree pudding to give ur shake a different taste. I've found it in cheesecake, vanilla and banana creme just a little is needed. I mixed the strawberry whey powder with a little of sf cheesecake and it take delicious!!!

I mix it with sugar free hazelnut or other sugar free syrups like the kinds you put in coffee.

Thanks I think I'll try these suggestions.

I've heard of people mixing a vanilla protein shake with Crystal Light.
